How does SeedForge know which investor viewed my profile?

SeedForge pairs each investor's unique link with the email they enter to open your profile. Every visit traces to one person in Deep Insights.

SeedForge identifies every viewer by combining two signals: the unique link the investor opened and the email they entered to open it. Each investor gets their own specific link, and opening a profile always requires an email, so every visit traces to one person.

How attribution works:

  1. Every investor gets their own link. Your outreach campaign creates a unique link per contact. Links you create yourself are tracked separately too.

  2. Opening your profile requires an email. Before your profile loads, the investor enters an email address.

  1. SeedForge ties the visit to the link plus the email. This pairing attributes the visit and decides which engagement from your outreach campaign links is charged.

The results live in the Investors table in Deep Insights. Each row shows the email entered, the link used, the last visit, the engagement level (Deep dive, Engaged, Quick scan, or Summary), visits, and reading time. The All links menu narrows the table to a single link.

The table shows the email exactly as typed. Credible investors leave their working email, and a fund domain usually identifies the firm. Outreach campaign links are created for a specific contact, so SeedForge knows those viewers from the link itself.

Note: the view itself is shown with the investor's email, while reading behavior feeds the anonymized intelligence in Deep Insights, which unlocks after 3+ investors have spent time on your profile.

Your own visits are excluded automatically. If you open one of your investor links and enter an email different from your SeedForge login email, that visit can be counted.

Quick answers

Can an investor view my profile anonymously?

Every visit is attributed. Opening a profile always requires entering an email, and every investor gets their own specific link.

Does SeedForge turn the email into an investor name?

The Investors table shows the email exactly as entered. A working fund email usually identifies the investor and the firm by itself.
